Anybody think about vinyl wrapping the plain *** battery cover? I'm more of a hardware, parts person, not too artistic. On my bike the battery cover just looks like a space that needs some attention.
Any ideas?
Vinyl wrapp might work, but to get those things off you normally use the heat from a hair dryer, so being that near to the engine the heat would probably cause it to eventually bubble and peel off. Harley's do make chrome battery covers for older bikes, so you could just wait until they bring one out for your bike. Other than that it's probably a case of painting it, which will be expensive. See what you mean though, bean counters at work.
