I did search, could not find what I'm looking for.
I have a 16 Slim with true duels on it now and they are way to loud and raspy for me.I'm putting the stock head pipe back on and looking foe a muffler that has a lower or base tone to them. What are you guys happy with? Yes I know this is subjective, but I still would like some feedback.
The most mellow mufflers that I've owned over the last 30 years - wifey loved them much better than my current Rineharts - are
Khrome Werks HP Plus slip-ons.
I started out with 3" Rineharts on my 2017 Softail Slim S and now have tinnitus. They did sound excellent though. Now I have the very expensive Jekill & Hyde Exhaust. They have an impressive deep tone to them when they are open.
True but when you consider the price of hearing aids it doesn't sound so bad? Also if you're in a small town late at night and god forbid you had a couple pints, you can turn down the exhaust and not draw attention to the law?
