How many of you have changed out the wheels on your Fatboys? I just don't care for the solid rims. Actually I have one on the rear of my old fxlr and thought about putting a spoke on it. Some fatspokes would be really nice, but prolly to expensive. I'm gonna get a 3rd bike, but don't know what yet, would consider a FB if a pair of regular spokes don't run that much. How much? Ballpark? Anyone with pics would be great too!

 

I don't have the fat spokes, but I picked up an 03 FatBoy the other week with a set of Performance Machine Tridents on it and I think going from the solid wheels to a set of forged customs makes the bike stand out completely from the rest. Having some air space or "gaps" if you will breaks up the monotone look for sure. Good luck!

 

For a set of quality aftermarket spokes a set would run about $1800 give or take.

There's a lot cheaper spoke brands out there, but we've had issues selling them and I'm sure other people have.
