Default Solo seat night train suggestions ?

I looking to buy a solo seat for my 2009 Night Train. I currently have the original seat that came with the bike at purchase. Im searching for a solo seat for the looks but also want comfort for my longer trips
I’m 230 lbs , 6 feet tall, and I usually spend between 2 to 8 hours cruising in the city and on the highway per trip.

What brand/model/style seat would you suggest and why ? And what brand/model/style seat should I avoid and why ?
Gel or No Gel ?
Any thoughts or suggestions ?
Cheers

I can honestly say that in my experience, you truly only get aesthetics or comfort, but not both together. Some seats are better than others but it really comes down to trying different seats and figuring out which does the combo the best. I decided on a H-D Brawler solo for my Street Glide. With the batwing mini apes (12 inch), the Brawler solo seat worked better than the Le-Pera or Corbins did, putting me exactly where I wanted to be. I even have a friend who bought one of the Mean City seats with the raised section at the crotch (don't know how else to explain it) and that seat locks you in but didn't sit me back far enough.

However, on my FatBoy, I put the Corbin solo on. It has a little more padding and isn't quite as wide as the Brawler so it fits the FatBoy better.

My brother put a Heritage solo on his softail and I have to say that it is by far the most comfortable out of all the solo seats that I have tried but is basically half a touring seat. It has excellent cushion but sticks a few inches out both sides of the frame rails and has the metal bar that goes around the back of it so it was a no go for me simply based on aesthetics alone.

I'm 6 foot even with a 34 inch inseam if it helps.

Also for what it's worth, the H-D Brawler does not leave a gap of "empty space" between the back of the seat and the rear fender.
