Hi everyone!
Hope this is in the right place. And I am sure it has been asked before, but here goes.
I would like to put some 10" Mini Apes on my 2016 Slim with the stock risers.
What wires/cables will make this change and which would I have to replace.
I'll include a pic, because who doesn't like looking at bikes.
Not 100% on the '16 but I put 10" bars on my '14 and all stock cables and brake lines worked. Theres enough slack that they will still fit. Just have to be creative how u route them. Non-ABS btw.
Yea I had to re-route the clutch a lil but it fit. And my brake line was close but no issues. Also, I put on Todd's 10" stripper bars which aren't very wide. If urs r wider then that will dictate longer cables as well.

Do you have any thoughts on them being narrower? I saw one the other day at the dealer and was thinking that it might make it both uncomfortable and more importantly harder to handle/steer. Everyone's shoulders and arms are different obviously, just curious if you would go to a wider hand position if you could do it over again.
I love em the way they are. Too wide and your chest becomes a sail on the highway. Really fatigues your back fighting the wind. Lately I've been considering going taller n if I do, I'll be sticking to the same make n model because I love the width. Plus the 1.5" thickness goes well with the fat forks on the slim/fatboy IMO.
