I use RAM mounts al so ( made "the *****" myself ) on all my bikes and quad but I find the linkage between the 2 ***** in most cases to "grotesque"
and willing to try another system but as said, I use it on 7 bikes and the ***** are easy to make for me. No other system will let me make it myself so
will be more expensive.
I would be concerned about unscrewing the fastener using the mount.
They are installed with blue loctite, they wont come loose, they first one I made is on the bike for more almost 3 years and plenty of miles.

Appearences, .. the other systems are lower, flatter in most cases but then again not as adjustable. On the first photo is the shortest connection that I have,
the others are 1" longer.
I have the quadlock case and mount. It quite a bit cheaper than the rokform and it has worked great thus far. Plus the audible click of the tab is very reassuring when you click your phone into place.
I use a Ram Mount on my softail. I do like the way they mount and that I can move it to my other bike. This is my Ram Mount on my Sporty, but it is the same set up, except higher as the Speedo is on the tank. I also ran a SAE cord from the battery to the Mount and can charge my phone while riding.
