Hey guys.
I have a 2008 Heritage softail. 96" EFI.
I am trying to pick up a used/ cheap fuel management system. Ie ; Fuelpak or Power commander.
My question is, is there any reason why I couldn't use a system labeled for 2008 and up touring models?
I see a few for sale in my local area. I feel this would work on my bike as it would be the same motor right?
Anyone with any knowledge on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
I do believe some of the tuners out there marry to a vin number. Be careful of this buying used and make sure you don't run into anything like that by surprise.
For a 2008 Heritage you need P/N- 61001A plus a "deep" ECM tray which should have came with the Fuel Pak.
You can find them on e-bay often for under $150.
