Hello everyone. I am making a few changes to my 2007 fatboy. I never ride with the removable windshield anymore with the purchase of my ultra. Does anyone know what "bolts?" I need to buy to put in place of the mounting hardware on my front forks where the slide on mounts for the windshield are? When I bought the bike back in 2007 the dealer did the install so I don't have the original parts. Anyone do anything to hide or dress up these holes? Im a do it yourself type of guy so I avoid going into the Harley store for simple bolts.
If it is screw #3 (3538) in this parts fiche that should be a 5/16-24 x 1/2 hex socket? You can confirm by taking one of the existing screws with you to your local hardware store for comparison.
