I just bought a detachable windshield off ebay for an '04 Fatboy. It does not come with the hardware and my bike has never had a windshield before. Does anyone know the part# for the hardware kit that I can get from my dealer? I need the mounts on the bike, the windshield has the hardware on it. The windshield part# is 58243-95. Thanks for any help.

You will need to go to the dealer and get them to dig out the parts book. Look up the windshield you have and on the blown up diagram the attachment parts should be listed. Generally speaking, you need the bolts, spacers, rubber grommets and maybe the springs that lock the windshield to the attachments.
You're not specifying what type bike it goes on, but there may be braces, etc. too depending on your particular app. In my case, I bought the springs and associated hardware in one package and the spacers/bolts/grommets in another; total cost was around $60.
Make sure you specify if you have passing lights or just the standard front fork set up. The brackets for the passing lights are wider. I bought a windshield from e-bay for a fat boy and it was standard. I have lights on mine. Still have the windshield if anyone is interested.
