Greetings, I have an 04 fatboy without a windshield right now. I am looking for recommendations on sound systems that can be heard at 80-85 mph with a full face lid. Any positive suggestions would be helpful
This is the system I have. It mounts to the windshield so probably not the best for your application if youre looking to stay without one. If a windshield is in your future, Im happy with this system. Its not as clear like it would be in your car at 85mph but it does pretty good and I ride with a full face helmet most of the time. It is H-D branded but I was unable to find it on their website. Perhaps its been discontinued.
Are you running saddlebags and a crash bar? If so I found alot of good ideas on youtube running an amp in the bag with or without speaker lids and running another set of speakers on the crash bar.
