So, I am looking for a speaker system that I can hear at highway speeds 75-80. No faring, but have windshield.
I have tried the HD boom system and the sound is awful.
I am not an audio person so I am looking for help and advice. I believe that I will have to go larger than a 3" speaker for the handlebar/crash bar in order to get decent sound.

Thanks!
I just tired out Cycle Sounds Series 3 speakers/amp. Just not enough. At full power and treble enhanced they were distorting a fair bit. There is just too much wind noise to overcome. I am now investigating fairings. I lost 20% in restocking fee, but that is the deal I agreed to when I bought them.
To be fair, the Series 3 system is a very solid system and I am sure it would work on a quieter bike.
I use harley handle bar set up looks good but the sound could be better ,pricey at $400.00 and at highway speeds it hard to hear the volume is there but it sound quality lacks. Beats humming to myself born to be wild.
