Just installed the Boss MC600.It's Bluetooth too...labeled as 800watt max. Found docs that list as 400rms though. I still hear it well past 70. Was only like $120.00 Was not gonna chance a 50.00 set. On my breakout, there's not enough room under seat so I have a fork bag mounted/secured to downtubes to keep amp in. Something to consider. It's not that speakers end up being quiet. It's the wind noise that is deafening. I can crank up the tunes sitting still too loud where I have to turn it down. I can't even turn it all the way up. Now...when going down the road and turning the speakers up the windnoise cancels it out. Did the volume go down? No... you're still listening to the blasting volume...just gives you an idea how loud the wind noise really is. My set of helmet speakers on a 1000 mile trip aggravated the sides of my head. No more though. It pairs through Bluetooth to my iPod or phone so no cord to hookup. I can also pause, skip and vol up/dwn too with handlebar controller. To do again, I'd either get the same one or try kuryakyn sound of chrome.

Nobody makes one that you can hear music like it is intended.
If you want something that makes acoustic noise, your Boom Audio is where you're at.

If you want to listen to music that way it's intended, either stay home or take the car.
