Valuation...1993 Heritage softail classic
Live in the UK and thinking of buying a 1993 Heritage softail classic from a friend. In his own words "It's a Heritage Softail Classic 1993/4 . New Tyres (10 miles)and Battery . Looking a bit tired in places needs some care and attention . Only non standard part are handlebars where I fitted Road King Bars , found them more comfortable". Unsure of mileage at the moment. What sort of price range do you think I should be looking at approx...No idea what to start at.....or is there somewhere on line I can just put in some details and get some idea of the price...would suspect it is below average condition. any help appreciated.

Then I look at local sales to get an idea of what others are asking for their bikes.
If the bike is below average you have to consider the amount of care or the lack of care the bike has had and what you may have to deal with after the purchase. In the end you may spend more than the bike is worth vs. just spending more upfront and getting nicer, better cared for bike.
Just my opinion.

I have no idea how Harley prices are affected across the pond..
Those EVO softails were strong running bikes. I had an '89 Heritage Classic. I put 30K miles on it in 3 years. I had to do nothing to it but change fluids... it was a great running, reliable bike.
If that bike is in good condition and well cared for, it could be a gem....
