Default Wont turn over
Just put new magnum cables (Clutch, idle, throttle, brake) on my 03 train as well as replaced the plugs, all fluids, and plug cables. Got her all back together and wont start.... FML started before i did the complete list. I gapped the plugs as spec. I dunno... Frustrated.

Did you disconnect the battery before you started in on all of the above?

Funny you ask.... I was thinking that as I was troubleshooting. I did shortly after because I forgot... What could that affect?

What would disconnecting the battery have to do with anything, the only electrical part he changed was plug wires?

OP, exactly what is happening when you press the start button?

Continues to turn over. A pressure release out the throttle body (air cleaner) a few seconds later, a chug and pop out of the exhaust amd then stop holding itn about 10 second seconds.. Or until the new battery starts to lose starting power.

Sounds like it wants to start bud obviously an air, fuel, or spark prob. Just thought id post on here to see if anyone else had thebsame problem. I know to "Check your manual".. Just thought id ask.

OP, exactly what is happening when you press the start button?
Puts the ECU to "sleep" so no electrical problems arise. Electrical Work 101. Plenty of connections were compromised while changing things over.

I've had a similar problem, turned out the battery had enough power to turn the bike over but the starter robbed the power from the ecu, so no spark. New battery and all is good (2017 flss).

This is kinda stupid, but did you reverse the plug wires accidentally? Not paying attention, I did that once and it behaved like you describe..

Reverse them on the coil and try again to see what happens..
