So after a string of older Harleys...ironheads, shovels...evos...I ended up with a 2012 heritage. Love it. And appreciate it. All my older harleys were reliable. But for what I want/need currently, this is perfect. Anyway. I got a dumb question...
Is this bike throttle by wire? I have no idea. I want to change the grips. But im not sure what fits or what won't. Will any 1" grip work? Or do i need some thing specific? Thanks

2012 is cable, like my 2013. I don't think they went tbw until 2015/16 but don't quote me on that.
I changed my gribs with a set I picked up at the dealer. The packaging will tell you what works on you bike. You can also go to HD website and look up parts there.

You know. Those two cables....I thought it would cable operated. But then i also thought maybe it was some sort of throwback by harley, with throttle wires hidden in the cable sheath. Like I said, it was a dumb question.
