Hey friends! I have a question about changing out my stock shifter pegs on my 03 heritage softail For a nice set of chrome and rubber bar&shield set I recently purchased at the local HD dealership. Kit includes 1 shifter peg body,1 button head cap screw. But my dilemma here is the stock rubber peg attached to the arm appears to have no tool application visible for removal? I thought I'd be applying a torx or Allen wrench for quick retrofit but not the case here! Has anyone else run into this and how did you proceed without causing damage to original pegs and levers? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated and welcomed! Footnotes: Any upgrades I do I always keep original stock parts in the best possible conditions for down the road nostalgia. Thanks again in advance!
