Speaking of chrome calipers, anyone have any experience with the chrome calipers from Eastern Performance. They are like $240.00 for a set of front and rear. Seems weird they are that inexpensive. Brakes may not be something I want to skimp on.

I looked there myself. But they don't have ones that fit my bike.
cost me 500.00 bucks for wrecking my rear caliper (lol)... replaced by a PM brake now.. works much better so I am happy
Ok, got my mind going. Was the wrecking of the rear caliper part of a brake pad replacement. Is this common? What should the rest of us "haven't wrecked myrear caliper" guyslook out for?

I wouldn't worry about it. It was just a bonehead move on my part. The pad pin wasn't seating properly and I stripped it while trying to force it.

yeah, don't try to force the pad pins in... I had the wrong pads.. (only slightly off) and then tried to force em in with a...hahah... hammer
so i fracked up the little machined push in retainer that the pad pin sits in :P if my pads were correct for the calipers I wouldn't of had that problem
