I spent the afternoon in battle with my rear brake caliper. I'll spare you all the sordid details, but between the stupid mistake on my part that kicked the whole ordeal off, and the dull tap I used to fix it, I wrecked my rear caliper. I finally got it cobbled back together, but should really replace it.
So here's the $64K question: Anyone got a stock rear caliper that will fit an '06 FXST they would like to sell me?
Don't you know screwing up bikes is what the dealer's service dept. is for??...You've ruined your bike...best just to part it out so if you box up those tins/bars&cables/headlight and send 'em my way I promise I'll put 'em to good use! Wish I had the coin to go chrome...I'd give you mine.

Well, normally this would be my "opportunity" to go chrome. But to be honest, I have not yet decided if I want to do chrome calipers or not. I am getting to the point where wash day is becoming an ordeal, and those calipers have all kinds of nooks and crannies.
