Geico insurance. I had to get a lawyer involved. Its been a month and still no settlement.
My only suggestion is try to get the newest and lowest mileage Heritage you can. Most of the time IMO Id look for a stock low mileage over a modified higher mileage engine.
There are some great deals on them on Cycle trader this one popped up 1998 with 50 miles on a new engine

Hope your insurance company settles quickly. Ive always had good luck with any claims. My cars are with mercury and my 19yr old son totaled a brand new 2015 Mustang GT (all his fault, put it into the dirt shoulder and lost control) car had 7,500 miles on it and Mercury paid full value of what we paid for it less taxes and registration. My 2012 Mercedes was totaled in May 2017 by a driver rear ending me while texting and I had a check in hand from Mercury in 5 days for more than the online KBB value was. My motorcycles are insured by Foremost and the only loss I had was about 10 years ago when one was hit while parked and again I had a fair complete settlement in less than 10 days.
Good luck finding a new bike, an Evo heritage is a good solid choice.
