Did you get the seat that fit's the fatboy or the one that fits the Night Train? Are they two different seats? Did you get the tab thingy under the other thingy?
[:@]I hate when I don't know what something is called.
I did get the NightTrain model...since I changed the tank and fender to night train ones....I assumed the frames are the same, aren't they? Anyways, I'll try bending the tab...but any other suggestions?
This was my concern when I was ready to buy a badlander off a member here who has a train. My dealer said they are different seats and flimsy and seats together make me nervous.
A couple wraps with duct tape could help as noted above and bonus is to reduce vibration transmission...Mustang or Corbin...I forget which...have a leather sleeve on tab.
Wanna trade some parts? I have a 07 Night Train and I want to put some chrome on it. I want a outer primary cover, coil cover, & upper belt guard. I also have the horn cover and breather cover that I have already replaced
I put that same badlander seat on my fatboy and I really like it. It looks better for 2up riding than the stock fatboy set up and also gives a little more back support than when using the stock fatboy seat "solo" style. As far as flimsy, well I am not sure that I agree with that. It is very light, but its a seat, it holds your ***, thats all.
