I put the V&H Big Radius on my NT. I took it for a ride and could barely hear it. I want it louder. Will I have to have my PCIII reprogrammed? Will I hurt the engine by running with no baffles? Also the bike idles real high and when you rev the engine it revs long. It takes awhile for the RPM's to come down even when you twist the throttle real quick. It just doesnt seem right. I had Jamie from FuelMoto program it. Is there anything special you have to do besides just plugging it in.
Did he do the Accel Pump feature on it too? Might want to call him and let him know, maybe he can walk you thru it or send you another map to use. As far as the baffels, I have the Big City Thunder baffels in my stainless creations pipes and I LOVE them, they basically provide the back pressure you need without reducing the sound. I have been next to Big Radius and drown them the F out!!
I have big radious and they seem to get louder with time, also when the bike is running cool like at night it sounds hight then during the day it sounds Deep and low
I made lollipops, which are basically the same as the Big City Thunder baffles. They are as loud as straightpipes, but as Aaron J said, give you the back pressure you need for low and mid-range torque. They have a very deep, throaty tone.

If you are a decent wrench, throw some lollipops in there and see how you like them; they are really cheap to make. I made mine from washers that were approx 1" O.D., attached them to studs so they would be centered in the pipe, and screwed them into the pipes 6" from the end.

Look through the past thread, clueless has a thread going that should be on the previous page or so. I put in Thunder Monsters and took them out, b/c my bike will definately need a retune to use them. Undecided if I will use them or buy a D&D Fat Cat.
brihvac,
you need to read up in the ecm forums how to zero your throttle with the pcIII. if you just plug it in, at idle it is about 7% throttle, it needs to be at zero. had the same problem with mine until reading the ecm forums. couldn't have done it without the knowledge of others, although i don't remember how to do it exactly. hope i helped you some.
