I just purchased a 1996 Harley Softail Bad Boy. I am having an issue with the turn signals. When I push in the turn signal button, the light comes on in the fornt and the back on each side but it does not blink. All of the bulbs are OK and it shuts off after you turn. Could this be a relay and if so, where are they.I checked everything under the seat and did not find anything. Any help is appreciated.

If the lights still work, but just dont blink, I would think its your flasher relay thats bad, although I will be of no help to you in finding its location.

Are they the standard indicators or have smaller aftermarket ones been fitted? Sometimes when they are fitted with smaller indicators you need to have a regulator fitted to make sure the correct amps are getting to the bulbs, otherwise they will go on but not blink.

ok, here's a definite "try this" for you. I know you said the old bulbis ok. Have you put in a new bulb, tho.?? I had exactly the same thing on my 05 heritage. The bulb in the back right hand side would not blink. I looked at the bulb and it looked fine. But as they say, "the proof is in the pudding"........I put in a new bulb and it worked fine. My old bulb looked fine but did not function fine. Try putting in another bulb. Won't take anything but a little time.......Hope this helps.
