I have a 2006 softail. My front right turn signal stays on solid when the bike is on. Only the front right. The turn signal works fine and i turn it on and once i turn it off it will turn off for a few seconds then turn back on, solid light. I have not done any upgrades/repair to the bike since last year. I did install apes and i checked the wiring to see if something got pinched. All good. Got three wires running to the turn signal light. One is ground one has voltage and the third pulses volt when turned on and the nothing when off. Any help would be great!!
Thanks

IF you're saying that the bright filament is lit solid when the turn signal is off, this sounds like it could be a bulb issue. Sometimes a filament breaks and gets stuck against the other filament causing anomalous behavior like this (especially when they're cheap Chinese-made bulbs mounted on a Harley Davidson paint shaker and agricultural implement). Also, make sure that the connections inside the housing are all clean and that you're using the CORRECT bulb - a dab of dielectric grease won't hurt, either.
Your post is a bit unclear ... is it possible that what you're seeing is the running light (dimmer of the two filaments) and the other one is just burned out?
I would start by putting new bulbs in both lights ... 1157 (2357 if you want it a bunch brighter, but they burn a lot hotter, too and may cause lens distortion / melting issues)
I have aftermarket turn signal lights LED. They are not running lights. They are always off. Just when i use the turn signal then they flash. The turn signal lights i have are apart of my rear view mirrors and cannot be takin apart.
I am thinking it is in the houding its self ofcourse the part i cannot take apart well i could but i would break it. I was lookin online and was seeing people talking about the relay for the turn signal causing problems. Just seeing it that could be my problem or just my mirror/turn signal was just broken
Three wires is indicative on a dual circuit light ... One for running and one for turn signal. If your mirrors have only two wires, one is ground and the other is the "blinking" hot.
Make sure you're using the right wire for ground on the lights.
It would have been nice to know that these were aftermarket LEDs in the initial post.
Sorry about that. I should of put all the info in the post! I will check my wiring again. Maybe i did something wrong. You are right three wire system should mean running lights. One hot one ground and one pulse for the turn signal
Thank you for the help
Use a couple of clip leads and your battery to figure out which wire on the mirrors does what ... A lot of Asian electrical stuff uses weird color codes ... Often black is one of the hots and ground will be green ...
Ground one wire then test the other two. Work your way around trying each wire as ground and testing the others until the other two give you a dim light and a bright light ... Then wire it accordingly. The dim is running and the bright is turn ...
