deluxe saddlebags do not seal
I purchased the harley Davidson saddlebage for the deluxe. From day one they did not look right, the top latch leaves a small gap between the backside of the bag and the lid. I was in a dealership today and noticed this years model does not have this problem. It appears the latch which mounts to the back of the bag is about a half shorter. Has anyone had this problem? Will HD swap out this latch? I purchased them fron Chciago HD and have not been able to get to anyone that can help me. @ $750 you would think they would have some resolution.

There's a known issue with the Deluxe bags - take it to the dealer and they'll fix it. Free if under warranty, about $50 in parts if not. You can do a search on the forum - there's been some previous discussion on this topic awhile back.
