Lower passenger seat anyone?
I found a ten year old thread on this so maybe there's some newer answers out there. I have a '09 Heritage and the stock passenger seat it very tall at about 4-1/2". My wife is way above me and catches a lot of wind. Also the center of gravity is worse with a passenger up that high. Please don't suggest a different windshield because that's not what I'm going for here. Does anyone have or know of a lower passenger seat but still fairly comfortable? I'd like to drop about 1-1/2 to 2" if possible. A typical ride with the wife is usually only about 2 hours or less.

I have the same issue with my wife and the Heritage. You might look at the wider seat available for the Heritage Classic. It is 14" wide and somewhat shorter in hieght. The Mustang seat might be shorter too. My wife just wears a helmet with a face shield and decided to deal with it as she also an inch taller than me so it was a no win there.

You could have the rear pad shaved down a bit. Mean City Cycles will perform all the seat mods needed. I actually had my rear pass upgraded with the memory foam, they cut out the factory foam and can reshape it any way you want, so dropping it an inch or so should make a world of difference in comfort and height.

Danny gray pillions generally look shorter to me. But only judging off pics. On my breakout, my wife was never comfortable on the pegs in the stock position. Kuryakyn makes ones that mount to the strut bolts. Have her the capacity to lean into her seat/backrest vs having to constantly shift her weight.
