I posted this in the what did you do to your Softail today thread, but figured Id give it its own thread because I couldnt find one on this being done before. Im sure somebody else has done this before me, I just didnt see it in the forum.
I bought this 2016 Deluxe bone stock back in October, and have been really enjoying turning it into my own. When I bought the bike, the front fender had a big crease in it, so I ordered a new one. I transferred over my chrome trim from the old fender, but wanted something different than the cheap plastic DELUXE badges from the original fender. So, I found a set of reproduction emblems from a 1950 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe on eBay. Theyre actually metal and cost less than a new set of Deluxe badges from Harley. Theyre almost exactly the same length as the stock badges, so I figured theyd fit the scale of the fender. Install was easy and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out!
