98 hp in a stock 96 with SE204s? Sure like to take a look see at that dyno?
Walking away from a stock 103 up top is a no great feat btw. lol
I guess I should be a bit more optimistic about breaking 100hp with my 103/S&S 570s.
Actually if you read my post the bike had:
Thundermax fuel control system (which at the time were one of the only systems with wide band 02 sensors to allow for better tuning)
Thunderheader 2 into 1 exhaust
Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather
Custom Tune / adjustable push rods etc...
This was done many years ago (2010/2011) and the dyno sheet was posted on this forum. I have been a member here for many years and through many bikes. I try to build at least 1 to 2 bikes a year. Anything from cosmetic repairs to full frame up builds. I have no reason nor any desire to get into an argument with you over something you obviously don't know anything about....Good luck on your project.
Bullshit because I was going buy these off a local who said the bottom would suck way too bad. Like 70 ft.lbs. at 2000 rpm. Now I'm curious because I could've bought them for $150 from someone who pulled them from a 96 with less than 1000 miles on them.
And yep, making up mind was tough til I stopped listening to people like you who argue with results. Namely the 999-6A in a stock 103. I can dig up the threads if you like mr. Know it all. News flash, they would do way better than you think but you argued otherwise with people actually running them! Made an *** out of yourself basically saying Jamie at FM was full of **** too.
The only reason I didnt go with them in the end is cost for a cam I'm only going to run 2 years tops and went with the 570s instead.
I would look at the Andrews 48 Cams. If you are looking for a stump puller these will do it. I put them in my 2005 Fatboy and have loved them every minute they have been in there

I'm thinking the Andrews 48 in my 2009 Heritage softail classic. Whats your opinion?
I put Andrews 21's in my '03 95" build with some street ported heads, and I love it ... tons of torque everywhere, passing power at highway speeds with a twist of the wrist, and it pulls to the rev limiter.
If I had a set of 05+ heads (like you do) or spent more money on springs and guides, I would've gone with Andrews 48's for the same reason - torque. Everything else in the Andrews lineup comes on later than I typically ride, which would mean running more rpm to get to the power.
Be honest with yourself what you want out of the bike, how you're going to ride it to enjoy it, and pick one cam smaller than you think you want.
