Default FL springer pm brakes

Anyone ever use this setup on their FL springer? Hanging some issues making it connect to the mount location. Thought I’d check here before I tinker too much. The connection point sits too low for the arm of first mount.

I ran that brake for several years and loved it. Got any pictures of your problem and what you're trying to do?

Looks like the Heim joints can be screwed apart to make the rod longer. Just lock the lock nuts again after the adjustment. I'm sure Performance Machine has an idea or two as well. If you are still having problems, pictures would help.

there’s an inner 3 point connector on the stock springer. Two points on the hard forks. One for the connections. Problem is the shape doesn’t allow the connector arm to go low enough. Sits about an inch too high. I fixed it just now by reversing that mount in hopes it fits better. Should work now. But wasn’t sure if anyone else tried a different method.

Cool

Are you sue you need that 3 point mount? Looks like you can remove it and put the arm (#16) onto the lower hole. My springer has the brake caliper on the other side, but the arm connects directly to the fork without a bracket. Not only does this make for a cleaner installation it aligns the rod parallel to the ground. Don't know if this helps. but I'm sure Performance Machine can offer some suggestions.
