Deuce fork tube removal from triple tree. NEED HELP!
Changing seals on forks and can’t get the tubes out of the tree. I removed the big torq bolt in the back but fork won’t budge. Deuce has different pinch bolts than a standard Softail Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Please forgive some of the miserable old ****s on here.( including me, most times)
I guess it's easier to be an ******* than answer your questions.
Anyway, are you sure you need to remove them from the triple tree?
You could drain them and just pull the sliders off and rebuild from there?
Granted you would have to pull the upper plugs to refill the oil...
If I had a shop manual I wouldn’t have asked the question on here.
There is not a lower pinch bolt on a Deuce.
The seals could be damaged installing from bottom side that’s why they had to come out of triple tree.
I used PB blaster and a sledge hammer.
