That is not true. I had to remove the rear tire and splash shield to get to mine on my 2016 Breakout
Why? I don't see the FP3 it in your pics... I have an FP3 on my Breakout, and my Rocker, and they both plug in to the connector under the seat, on the left side of the battery.
Rocker is 4 pin, and Breakout a 6 pin that you can see slid into place on side of battery.
I never stated that I had an FP3. I installed a Power Commander V and that has to be interfaced directly with the ECU which is located in front of the rear wheel. I installed my PC-V in the same place as your FP3

Not sure why your commenting then....The OP was asking about installing an FP3 on a Rocker, and the comment you said is "not true" is true.
