Today I cut the cat out of each muffler on my wife's 2012 Deluxe. Sole reason was to reduce felt temperature. She is only 5' 0" and really cooks herself on it. I guess next will be to add some fuel to it with a tuner. Not looking for more power just cooler temps. Snapped a couple photos in case anyone wished to see my approach. I just cut open an area under the chrome shield since it would be best hidden once repaired. Quick hack with a cutoff wheel and weld and they were back on the bike.
