S&S E Carb Jetting
2001 Softail Standard
S&S E Carb
2 into 1 Exhaust
I’m having trouble nailing down correct jetting. When I role on the throttle there is a delay and then kind of spits or misses a beat?
current jets are
main 295
intermediate 72

Have you given S&S a shout? And checked for intake leaks? I put a S&S E on my '87 Softail ('99 crate motor) running old-style 2-into-1 style headpipes with a 30" fishtail straight pipe and it was set up perfectly from the factory.

Got the jets backwards , mains 72 and the im. is .295.
Far as jetting goes depends on the motor setup and condition, intake leak will drive you nuts chasing jetting and sounds like you have one somewhere.

In case anyone else has jetting questions I contacted S&S and they were great. Got me dialed in!
