The best issue is you got through those strokes. Glad you're riding again. Be careful and enjoy.
I have the same year and color heritage. Your pictures have me thinking about removing the
tank badges.
I dig it, the previous owner had a sign shop make the harley vinyl for the tank, not sure what I will do with it yet, but probably will find a set of badges I like, kind of liked the ones from the slim, or I may get the script like whats on there now painted on in cream color to match the cream on the bike
By the way, I got this bike for $6,800. you guys think thats a fair price?
I thought it seemed like a good price for a solid bike with 12k miles
It's a clean looking bike with really low miles. I think you got a great deal. I realize they aren't worth anymore than
the market will allow, but I wouldn't sell mine for that. Congrats on your new ride, Take care of it and it should serve
you well.
If you get at least $6800 worth of use and fun out of Billy, it'll have been worth every penny, regardless if it's a good deal now or not. Though it sounds like a good deal to me fwiw. Enjoy every miles and keep it between the ditches.
yeah thats how I feel too, trouble is you guys know the amount of money we put into these things we never see anything close to recovering if we end up trading off or selling lol
I started riding around 40 years ago but only got to where I could afford one around 10 years ago, its a great thing for me that shows like SOA etc caused a flood of sales and subsequent used market sales.
I think its great that more people have access to the bikes now but its bad for Harley
