I think you should pass... and send me the sellers number. $3000 for a heritage springer is a steal, I bought mine a couple months ago and paid significantly more. In my opinion, it's the best looking bike Harley ever made.

My suggestion, ride it for the season, rebuild and punch it to 95" over the winter.

I wouldn't consider 67,000 miles on a 17 year old bike to be high... Reaper is a 2005 Night Train, I'm about to hit 175,000 miles on her (bought her new in '05), and she's running as strong as ever. Way more important than the number of miles on it, is how it was maintained/cared for. If you can get some sort of service history, that would be a better indicator. That all said, if the bike is in good condition, I would jump all over it at that price!

That mileage doesn't bother me much either as I have two bikes each with over 100,000 miles. If it runs good and you like it, but it. That price seems more than fair.

Killer deal.
You can get 2,500 just for the front end on eBay. Buy the bike, never take it past being able to restore it to stock. Matching numbers are important so keep the original motor in it regardless of what motor work might need to be done in the future. All HD Springer’s are becoming collectible so this bike should only go up in value.

Grab it before he changes his mind.

I say go for it. I have about 95,000 on my 06 Heritage and would probably have 150-175K on it if I didn’t have 2 bikes. I wouldn’t hesitate to ride it cross country.

You should definitely get the bike but keep in mind if you're going to build the motor 03 was the first year without the Timken bearings on the crank which is known to shift if you put any real power to it..
Also keep in mind that at $3,000 for a springer there's probably something seriously wrong with it so take somebody who knows something about bikes with you to look at it...

I know one thing, for $3,000 I wouldn't have been on here asking phucking questions, it would have already been in my shop.

There's nothing wrong with it that I couldn't fix, not for that price.
