checking the hayden m6 tensioner after 25000miles Ive decide to change the tensioner shoe Im not sure at all if it is worn enough to change it but I did it anyway...
then I realize that the starter pinión looks worn out but Im not sure...
Would you guys tell me if the pinión is ready to change
and the hayden shoe was worn enough to change it as well?
I would appreciate your points of vew

Think you gear came that way. That is a factory grind or mill marks. That tensioner starts rolling on the roller chain at that point. It will last forever....The tensioner on roller chains in Toyota 4 cylinder years ago where hard rubber. On a roller chain, they were fine at 200,000 miles.
