Is the Heritage Classic 114 Crap?
Makes me wonder how many M8 bikes, from the first several years of production, are on the used bike market due to "an oiling problem"...?
The suspension put it in touring...........But the rest of the bike is far from touring capable! I think they have a good platform with the new Heritage & if they correct some of the nuisance problems they can have a really good capable bike! that being said - I wont be buying one.
I think the whole bagger craze is what's putting a damper on the Heritage sales, seems like everywhere I turn there's a bagger, the Heritage, not so much. Although I did put a full fairing on my Classic and I do truly love it, but to go full bagger isn't for me. I've said this over and over, every time I load up for a week long, weekender or just a full day of riding with the GF, I say I'm going to buy a bagger someday. But when we return, I look back and say, what for? My 05 does everything I want it to do.
They call the Street Glide the "Me Too" bike around here, as in, hey what do you ride? A Street Glide, Yeah "Me Too". Just not for me. Just a side note, my Heritage is far from stock. You can read her details in my Signature. And she glides.
Go for a nice Heritage, make it your own, and you won't blend in with every other Harley out there.
Case in point.

smart and put chrome back on the 2020's
The dealer was thoughtful enough to have a 2 yr old (USED) motorcycle
marked at its orig MSRP.
Mine is a '13 but I'd buy an older evo before a new M8.
