I recently purchased a 2013 Softail slim and wanted to put wider tires on the back. Can anyone help me with some links to kits that will fit my bike? And how much would it cost me to switch to a 240?
Agreed, in less than 1 second and you get the following... Also, there is a "sticky" thread about heartland 180 at the top of the Softail forum lists...
If you like wide tire...because dont buy a breakout?
Softail Slim look nice withe the original tires, if you change tires, you dont like softail slim.
Yep, I keep asking myself that question as well.... Its almost like folks buy the Slim because its
about the cheapest Softail, not considering all the expenditures they'll have to make when
adding "Heritage" or "Deluxe" fender struts for large saddlebags or racks/etc...
FWIW, I did put a 150 on the rear, but I"m happy with it and will probably go back
to a 140 when its worn out.
