Hi! Just curious, has anyone had any issue with accessory bags falling off their pre-2018 softail slims? My left bag is missing... I have a 2012 with the quick release saddlebag and sissybar setup. I have seen threads on the 2014/2015 recall on CVO's but nothing on slims. I rode the bike to work last Thursday (50 miles of mostly highway), and had both bags secure when I got there. I am fairly certain they were both there when I left for home (another 50 miles), but that is where I am fuzzy. I got home, parked the bike in the garage and even retrieved my lunchbag from the right hand bag and didn't notice the other one missing. Last night I opened the garage to take the bike for a ride and immediately noticed that my left bag was gone. Now I am worried that someone may have stolen it from inside the garage. The problem is that the only other person I know has access to the garage is the lady I rent from who lives alone, and there were no signs that the garage was left unlocked or broken into. So I am wondering if it fell off on the highway and I just didn't notice in my hurry. If anyone else has had issues with these quick release bags, I could sure use some peace of mind that it just fell off and that my rental garage is secure!! Thanks!
