Hi,
I want to put stage 1 on my 07train and can't decide where to go....
I'm gonna install arlen ness a/c and pc3 but can't decide to put RUSH silp ons or V&H 2-1 radios.
The RUSH slip ons seems to look (from the pictures)longer then SE slip ons. true?
The 2-1 will give you more power than the Rush S/Os....I have the Rush S/Os and love them, especially the sound with the 2" baffle. I also have the PCIII USB and K&N High Flow.
I went from slip-ons to a Hooker tunable 2-1 pipe on my 04' Nightrain and I am much happier with the performance and sound as well as the tunablity you get with the full pipe.
I have the rush slip ons on my 07 train, straight cut. They seem to appear a little longer I think just because the ends are not tappered like the original once. I have the 2.25" baffle and I am amazed with the sound. I was not looking for a huge upgrade in performace I just wanted the nice harley sound to come through, and IT DOES! I have been riding with them about a month and have set off multiple car alarms without even cracking the throttle. They have some real *****, and they are not to loud when cruising.
From the research I've done I'd say 2-in-ones for performance, slip-ons for price. I'd go for the Rush unless you're going to get some new Cams etc. The Rush sound is awsome and the HP gain ain't bad. My ride is an 88 carb though, so others with the 96cc EFI's may have something else to say...
