Leak from clutch cable

Anyone ever heard of transmision fluid leaking from the clutch cable. My leak is coming from theadjuster on the cable. Severe enough that I checked my trans. level and it was low (bottom bar). Dealer keeps telling me its cable lube. I don't believe it is due to the amount that is coming out.

It has to be lube. The cable does not carry any type of fluid.

The clutch cable doesn't go anywhere near the primary![sm=smiley29.gif]

You would have to have some high pressure building in the tranny to push tranny oil up the clutch cable , very doubtful ! No way can primary gear oil get there ! As your dealer suggested , its most likely cable lube .
