I have one on the left and the right (my sig pic is outdated). They go on in about 15 minutes....easy job. I carry tools in one and cigars/misc. items in the other one.
Did you have any issues mounting up the left side one?
All of them that I've seen has been on the right.
Any info would be great! thanks
Look in the HD accessories catalog, they make left and right side versions. You can mount a right side one on the left, but the shape looks a little odd and the lid opens upside down. Actually, that could be a good thing because loose stuff will tend to fall out into the lid.
I like the idea of a tool box on the left side seems that that is the side that can use a little help in the chrome dept right side always has plenty. I picked one up at my stealer today he was having one of them 15% off sales to try and drum up business meaning he is not doing that well. Cost me 76.00 out the door bought the left side. maybe i should have bought both and one insert. in one i would like to keep some tools and in the other maybe my paper work and cut a foam insert for my small 9mm i carry.
I placed mine on the left side - Since there isn't much to look at on the left side. Simple install (if you're using OEM footpegs, you'll want the spacer kit). I adjusted the rear peg so it folds under the tool box. I also took some neophrene from an old wetsuit, and lined the inside of it.
well after a quick look at the tool box mounting instructions and at my bike its looks like you cannot mount one to the left side with true duels the pipe is in the way if im wrong please correct me. Ill have to try and return the left side for a right side
It comes in black or chrome. It's extra handy when you have more than one bike because you don't have the problem of grabbing the wrong papers on the way out the door. It would probably hold the magazine for you 9MM too, a good thing in states where the law wants the ammo and piece locked in different compartments.
