Hi to all
I have a heritage softail classic 2012 abs
Since a week ago when I press the front brake level a weird sound appers from below the gas tank...I know its not easy to describe a sound
its like something electric .... as ..grrrrrrrrrrr its not a metal noise or something loose..
took the bike to an indy shop and they told me the issue its the abs control module...theres no any fault code and the brakes works but that sound means something I guess
Any of you guys had that issue with the abs module?
Sorry for my english I do my best
thanks in advantage.
Ive been told to upload the video to youtube then copy the link and paste to the forum...Im not a genius in computers but keep on learnig
gonna hit the road to make the video
thanks
ok heres the video
I have to say it happens just when I press hard the front brake level not when use the rear one
no fault codes as I say and abs sistem works.....but what that noise is about?
thanks a lot
ABS has to be bled differently then non ABS do you have the HD Shop Manuel for your bike? Per my manual for 2016 Softails The dealers hook up a Digital Technician for bleeding. I had my dealer change out my system, about 100 bucks here, Good luck, Ride safe.
