Default Driver Backrest

Looking for a Drivers Backrest for a 2007 Heritage Softail. Don't want to buy a new seat, just looking for an add on backrest.

Is the one from firehouse customs adjustable? Does not look like it, but site does not specify one way or the other.

The firehousecustoms backrests are not adjustable, but I still like mine a lot.

You may want to look at the Kuryakyn GranTour bag...In addition to having a backrest, you will have a convenient place to keep things.

How hard are either of these to put on and take off? Couldn't find the price on Pro-Tac, but I did find them listed on realhog.com (Cruiser Customizing's HD site). Looks like both Pro-Tac and Firehouse are similarly priced($150 range), so it may come down to ease and looks for me.

Other feedback or suggestions?

I had a Firehouse Customs backrest and sent it back to them after a 400 mile ride. The backrest was fairly well made, but it forced me forward about 2" in the seat and I found it to be very uncomfortable for the long haul.

Idaho, your coments on the backrest pushing you foward just sold me on the Firehouse backrest. I'm 5' 9" and I think that might fit me perfect. My arms are supporting my upper body weight as I ride and my shoulders get tired after a couple of hours in the saddle. I checked the web site and like the lower pad. Oh and thanks Texas
