Default 2001 flstsi heritage springer

This may sound stupid but I don’t have another springer to compare my question to. If you own a springer, does your triple clamp seat at the same angle as the neck rake? Mine is canted toward the front of the bike. I don’t know if that’s normal. Sure doesn’t look normal. By the tank I have a 3/8 inch gap and the front is tight to the neck.
any help is well appreciated! Thanks

Don’t know if this shows what I’m talking about

Hmmm. Mine does NOT tilt like that! I'm going to guess that at some point the fork got tweaked. Check the pinch bolts for tightness. Does the other side look like that? Does it handle wonky?

That just ain't right. It should be square.

I’ve had a front end wobble between 30 and 40 and it’s overall kinda squirrelly. Don’t know when or how it got that way.

Looks like neck bearings are either too loose or bad, need to check that out.

Your neck bearings are wore out from being too loose. They need to be replaced NOW. hopefully nothing else is ruined.

The triple clamp on my 2007 Springer sits the same way. Another Springer I saw at a nearby dealership was the same.
I asked the guy over the service department about it and was told it is in the design of the front end.

Default Thank you kantdo55

And to all I appreciate your help. Stopped by Harley shop today and they had a springer in for repairs. It had the same cant on the triple clamp above the neck that mine has. It looks wonky as hell but I guess it’s okay.

Im waiting for the bearing retainer tool from Lang and I’ll adjust up the bearings and see if that helps my wobbles. Service tech at dealer swears that’s the problem. Lol we’ll see!

Also bought some “Ride-On” for balancing. We’ll see on that also!

Thanks again for the help and ideas!
