I mostly use a high quality wax, I'm kinda ole school when it comes to that. But a quick wipe down a good stainless steel cleaner does wonders too. I use it a lot on my bike.

I used to detail a black Z06 Corvette, that I would sometimes put in a show here or there..

While reading and learning about how to detail paint, I would read about experts describing the steps to a good detail. They would say... "The product brand you use, is not as important as the process...."

I certainly appreciate and use simi chrome and mother’s ( on bare aluminum)but note that mothers label says “ do not use on chrome”
and simi chrome says “ only for neglected chrome”
my blue magic label indicates chrome is approved

I assume the first 2 have a higher abrasive factor than BM

ymmv

Good to know....

I've never used Blue Magic, and just assumed it was like the other creme/paste polishes... many of which have some abrasives in their formula... sounds like Blue Magic does not have any abrasives, or very fine/light abrasives in it's formula...

That's why I stopped using the Mothers Mag polish and switched to Mothers Chrome polish... I'll have to give Blue Magic a try when my Mothers Chrome polish runs out..

Mr.Hat , guaranteed you'll never look back when you try B.M , it'll leave your chrome with a nice " bluish " tint that shines forever , I get everyone asking what I use to make it sparkle .

I use the B.M that comes in the bottle , not the small round container .
