Probably all of the above, what ever is on the shelf, chrome is easy to do.

That's genius right there , when I first bought my rims , I made a jig to mount my axle's and then used my drill with a polishing wheel on it , sure beats doing it on the bike ..

Not near as bad as the passing thought I had.

On the jack, rear off the ground, start and put in gear?

I decided I didn't need anymore "Darwin Awards" in my collection ...

stable at 170 rpm, went to 220
no worries

Did the centerstand in gear on bike method on 750 Hondamatic and Yamaha triple “ flip bikes “ worked just skippy
the center stand was key
