Default Chrome Wind Deflector ?

I was talking to this guy the other day who said there is a small chrome wind deflector that can be mounted to the risers ?? Not the one for the forks. He made it sound like a mini windshield. Has anyone seen something like this ?? Or was this guy hittin the pipe. I have a 07 Deluxe and I hate the look of a windshield ... I also hate gettin the crap kicked out of me at 70 on the parkway. Are there any other options ?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Jay

Can't see how anything but a windshield will keep the blast out of your face. Never seen mini-deflectors except for the fork mounts.

...the ones I have seen are on sportsters...and in my opinion would do nothing for wind..look pretty cool though.

I think he meant beside the risers on the bar. Try www.windvest.com. I have a friend with one of these. They are designed to be aerodynamic and kick the wind up over your head while taking up small amount of space. Look good on her Fat Boy.

If you hate the look of a windshield, do you hate the feel of not having one? Its pretty much mutually exclusive. I've been back and forth on this, and finally found true love with a low profile WS. Form and Function. If the bike is on show, take the WS off. If you are cruising for comfort and fun, who cares if you are riding with a WS? They are highly detachable at a moments notice.

Check these out. I recently purchased them and I ride with the shield. They work pretty well and they are fairly inexpensive. bottom left of page.
