I started the bike today. Rode it to my mom's. No problems. I go to start it to ride home...won't start. I turn the ignition switch to start it, I have lights. I push the start button by the throttle...nothing. No weird noises, nothing. I pulled the battery and checked it, and the battery tests fine. The guy at the auto store said to tap the starter with a hammer, maybe the plunger is stuck. Not sure I want to be hitting anything with a hammer.
Could it be the starter? The start switch? Blown fuse? Seems strange that it ran fine and suddenly nothing. Seems like no power is getting to the starter...it doesn't crank at all, yet I have power for the fuel pump to come on and lights.... Anyone else ever had this issue? Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
