I buttoned everything up and took her for a test ride. It is now running much better, almost like it was before I replaced the fuel pump assembly. I now have a little bit of a flat spot on acceleration with the occasional sneeze out the AC. When I bought the bike new, I had the 95 cu in kit as well as the Stage 1 option installed. Should I need a remap of the ECM after replacing the fuel pump?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cool, glad to see you found the issue...

Changing the fuel pump does not require a change to the tune... any sudden change in drivability issues, should be from other sources... make sure maintenance/wear items are up to date/spec....

FWIW... I had the dealer install an HD 95" big bore kit back in October 2003, in my 6 month old 2003 Heritage. It had the SE203 cams and was tuned with the standard HD Big Bore download tune of that time period. The bike ran well for many years. Several years later I added a downloaded tune from DynoJet, via my PowerVision... it really woke that bike up.... Certainly wouldn't hurt to get it tuned, but a tune shouldn't be needed because of an oil pump change....

Thanks hattitude! Time to start checking off all the boxes making sure things are to spec. Even if unrelated, perhaps a tune is on the horizon.
