I ordered 1/2 pint of base snd Lava Red Sunglo and 1/2pint of base and Glacier White Pearl from Colorite Paint.
They were supposed to be the colors for my 2005 Deluxe. I took it to paint shop with my new fairing to get painted. They called and said neither one was right color.
So i have some paint for sale if anyone is interested in those colors.
i will mske you a good deal.
I am confused. What does "They were supposed to be the colors for my 2005 Deluxe" mean?
Did you order the wrong paint or did they send you paint that is mislabeled ?
According to their color chart that was the red and white colors for 2005 Deluxe. Since i could not find a paint code for my bike i thot those were the right ones.
That was my bad.
Below is a chart of the colors for a 2005 Deluxe. If your bike is red and white you can't order the wrong colors.
According to the color chart below, the Lava Red Sunglo and the Glacier White Pearl require a base coat AND a top coat. If you read the "IMPORTANT NOTE:" below, both the top and base coats are required for a special color effect. You said you ordered the base coat for each color. Did you order the top coat as well?

I think you can do a VIN search to find out what color your bike was painted. Perhaps a special order or paint set?
Do you have a picture of the bike?
